After two years of operation, V+V Visionarium will be closing its doors on Friday, July 26. The goal of Visionarium was to support the mission of Visionaries + Voices, to achieve greater inclusion into the community and to increase awareness.
As an organization rooted in the belief that art can transform communities and inspire, we took a leap into a new territory that challenged and tested how we can grow in the future.
Over the years, we have created an inclusive, creative environment for people to gather, celebrate, and explore together. We have reached children and families through our unique classes and events. Our retail storefront put artwork and merchandise by local artists in front of new eyes, while our education space offered professional opportunities for teaching and design to artists of all abilities. We could not have achieved these wonderful things alone. To our patrons, our sponsors, our hardworking artist community, and our staff, we give our greatest gratitude for supporting us on this journey. Even though Visionarium is closing, both Visionaries + Voices studios are going strong and we are committed to continuing the legacy of Visionarium in other ways.
You can still find authentic V+V merchandise in our online store, carried in supporting shops in Cincinnati, in the Tri-County location, and at the Northside location beginning this fall. You can also join us in our upcoming exhibition year at the Northside gallery and community venues to see more works by the artists of V+V. Visionarium’s last day of operation will be Friday, July 26, so be sure to stop in for our store closing sales throughout the month of July.
